Rockerbob's Standard Stompbox Samples
All the samples. for ease of creating the demo, are the same guitar. Not really an acoustic guitar, but a Line6 Variax simulating an acoustic guitar with a pickup. The effects are simulated using a Line6 Vetta II amplifier/effect processor. These are just to provide the uninitiated an idea of what these effect sound like.
Plain guitar sound - the basic simulated acoustic - a baseline
Phase Shifter - A simulation of the old MXR Phase 90
Flanger - a basic flanger like the old MXR box.
Chorus - Analog chorus simulation
Rotary Speakers - Still a simulation, but at least it does ramp up the speed when you change it, like a physical rotating speaker.
Compressor - Simulation the old MXR Red compressor. Kind of a nasty compressor, but it illustrates the effect pretty well. First a sample without and then a sample with, repeated with another lick.
Envelope Follower (AutoWah) - This is a sim of the famous Mutron unit.
Volume Swell - This is probably better done with a volume pedal for control over the swell, but this sample is an automatic swell.
